Yoga For Snowboarding – How To Do The Mighty Warrior Pose

Hi! I’m Emilien Badoux. Welcome to my yoga lessons designed to improve your snowboarding. Today, I’ll be teaching you the Warrior pose to help improve your balance and maintain a solid stance on your snowboard, while keeping unused muscles loose and relaxed. Inhale. Place your right foot back at a 45° angle. Exhale.
Bend down until your tibia is in a vertical position. Inhale.
Raise your hands above your head and put your palms together. Hold the pose for three full breaths. Exhale while joining your hands behind your back. Look over your right shoulder. Hold the pose for three full breaths. While inhaling, stand up. Come back to the front of the mat and repeat the process on the opposite side.
