Snowboarding a Half-Pipe : Snowboard Half-Pipe: Riders Left Wall Mellow Drop

Alright I want to talk a little bit about
dropping in mellowly. A first drop for your hillside, obviously as a goofy footer, I am
dropping in on “rider’s left” of the half pipe. Same concept, you want to kind of approach
your drop in area a little bit on your heel side. Once you ollie, you want to land flat
on to the transition and then bend your knees to pump the tranny, keep your base flat until
you reach the middle part of the pipe. Then transfer on to your heel edge, this will take
you up the opposite wall, your heel side wall, on your heels and provide maximum speed for
maximum edge. In this segment we are going to be talking a little bit about dropping
in kind of mellowly from your toe side wall, carving up to your heel side wall, so let
us do it.
