In this segment, we’re going to be talking
a little bit about how to make a toe to heelside turn. It’s the same basic concept as the one
you just did. It’s just about shifting your weight from your toes to your heel edge and
confidence. Let’s go do it. Your toe to heelside turn is going to be the exact same way as
your heel to toeside turn. You just want to focused on your hips. Go ahead and initiate
the turn, by pointing down the hill. Keep pointing down until your board is straight.
And, then rock to your heelside. And, that’s how you do a toe to heelside turn. Just the
same as you did with your last turn, you want to be really aware of where your weight is.
When you start out on your toes, you’re going to have your hips over your toes and balanced
on your toeside. And, as you go down the hill you want to eventually rock those hips over
to your heelside over your heels of your snowboard. That in itself, will turn your board and everything
will happen for you. All you have to do is keep your weight forward and keep your eyes
up and your confidence strong.
