How the 2020 Burton U·S·Open is Innovating Halfpipe and Slopestyle Design

One of the ways the Burton US Open is
innovating snowboarding is the way that they are building their courses. There’s a lot of unique features that you don’t really see at other comps like the
transition feature. Street style rail setups. I think that just brings out the creative aspect of snowboarding. This year the US Open they’re gonna have
a different course design as they have in the past. I’ve seen some course leaks
and now we got two side hits and one jump. everybody’s going to have to learn how to
ride tranny better which will be really sick. Then the halfpipe is going to be modified
superpipe as well. Everybody that’s involved with getting that course and that competition together are all making it so progressive and they’re all making it so much different. Mixing it up is important in anything. It keeps the riders and the viewers refreshed and on their toes. It’s pretty awesome to see how dedicated they are to the sport for sure.
