PEOPLE IN THE GRAND FORKS AREA ARE RALLYING TOGETHER IN SUPPORT OF A 7- YEAR-OLD BOY HURT IN A SLEDDING ACCIDENT. IT HAPPENED ON JANUARY 24TH… WHEN “LUKE RILEY” WAS SLEDDING WITH FRIENDS IN HIS BACKYARD. HE HIT A SNOW FORT HEAD FIRST AND NOW HAS A SPINAL FRACTURE. HE’S CURRENTLY AT THE MINNEAPOLIS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL AND WILL BE UNDERGOING PHYSICAL THERAPY. A GROUP OF FRIENDS CALLING THEMSELVES “TEAM LUKER” HAS STARTED A FUNDRAISING PAGE IN CONJUNCTION WITH HIS CARINGBRIDGE SITE.
