CAPiTA Black Snowboard Of Death – 2020 Snowboard Review

I’m Rob from Snowtrax, I’m the main snowboard
buyer and one the main testers for Snowtrax. Here today to talk to you about
our old favourite, The Black Snowboard Of Death. This is built by Capita for
all-mountain technicians so they say but ultimately it’s their top of the tree
flagship all-mountain freeride snowboard it’s superlight!
I mean I’m holding in my hands is hardly weighing anything. It’s one of the fun go
to boards if conditions are right this is this is one of the boards I’d
love to take out just to ride and charge so fun super super smooth. I’m gonna focus on some of the tech you
get a lot of carbon and sort of like dampening underneath the binding so when
you’re charging it’s really really smooth. a lot of the power radiates towards
the tip and the tail but the shape helps as well so it is a directional shape
it’s a little bit flatter at the back more lifted in the front with
traditional camber in the middle so really really stable at speed but floats
well in soft snow. When you get this into a turn it’s just really really
consistent really really smooth and reliable! That’s what you want from a
board like this you want to be able to trust in it and that’s what that
delivers. It’s really suited for people that like to charge like to ride anything
from powder to piste and don’t want to compromise it is in their alpine section
so it’s not really built for park Don’t get me wrong, you can still go and fly a
method off a side hit on it but that’s it is tuned very much for
freeride and that’s where we’ve really loved to ride this snowboard. So for advanced to expert riders wanting
a lightweight super fun snowboard for off piste and on piste go and grab
yourself one of these you won’t be disappointed!
