‘Average Andy’ with Tonya Harding

‘Average Andy’ with Tonya Harding

[MUSIC PLAYING] (SINGING) He’s a music theater
producer on the Ellen Show. He works hard every day. He’s super duper
awesome at what he does. But he’s average
in every other way. Hi, I’m Tonya Harding. Two-time Olympian, US
champion, and first American woman to ever do
the triple axel. And I’m Andy. So what is it you do? Not a lot. I am here to show you how to
do it properly and as safely as possible. Thank you. One thing that never comes into
these discussions with Ellen is Andy’s safety. And I’m glad that you’re at
least taking it into account. And I appreciate that. Now see, you want to be able
to learn off the ice first. Put your hands like
they’re on a table. Relax. Shoulders back. Now march. How is this doing
anything for me? Because that’s going to teach
you your balance on the ice. Oh, I’m balancing. Yes. And then you can bring
them out just like this. How are we not doing
pairs this year? So I brought hockey skates. But they’re saying that
I need to wear these. Yes. And is this my size, by the way? Sevens is my norm. All right. Let’s not say out loud
that I wear a seven. [MUSIC PLAYING] (SINGING) Baby I,
I’ve got something to say to– to– tonight. To– to– to say. Everytime– Up. Bend. Oh, that– You don’t look down. Push with just your right foot. Bend your left
and keep it there. Very good. I’m [BLEEP] nailing it. Chest up. Look at me. They’re not [INAUDIBLE]. There you go. That was good. That was really, really good. Nobody’s given me this much
encouragement in my life. This is what I need. There you go. Boom. [MUSIC PLAYING] This is called a blur
spin or a scratch spin. You want to tuck the hands. Right? Look at that. You might have to slow down
the cameras so they can see it. What would the judges give this? What we’ve done so far. Maybe a 0.1? See, that’s it. That’s the problem,
is they’re snobby. They don’t like that
I’m the bad boy of ice Now one of the things
that you have to remember is that it’s about presentation. Right. And the proper outfit. Right. The thinning closer tights. Oh no . I don’t do well in slim. This shirt. I asked you about
tight and you promised. It’s not tight. This is hard. I’ve never felt
worse about myself. You think I don’t
see you laughing? Oh these are different skates. Got to get– You’re OK Toe pick. These are different skates. He took me down because I was
trying to catch him and help him not fall on his face. Well, what happened was, I
saw her starting to wobble and I didn’t want Tonya to
feel bad that she was falling. So what I did is I fell
like, oh, it’s my fault. They’re just different skates. We’re going to go
back to the old. Skates wait. So what– no. [MUSIC PLAYING] [MUSIC PLAYING – KATY PERRY,
“HOT N COLD”] (SINGING) You change your mind
like a girl changes clothes. And you over think. Always speak critically. I should know that
you’re no good for me. Cause you’re hot
then you’re cold. You’re yes and then no. You’re in then you’re out. You’re up then you’re down. You’re wrong when it’s right. It’s black and it’s white. We fight– Yeah, I didn’t see
the stop coming. (SINGING) We kiss, we make up. Follow me. (SINGING) You don’t
really want to stay, no. Lift. Just follow my moves. (SINGING) You don’t
really want to go-o. Cause you’re hot
then you’re cold. You’re yes then you’re no. You’re in then you’re out. You’re up and you’re down. Cause you’re hot
then you’re cold. You’re yes then you’re no. You’re in then you’re out. I got boob. Hi, I’m Andy. Ellen asked me to remind you
to subscribe to her channel so you can see more
awesome videos. Like videos of me getting scared
or saying embarrassing things, like ball peen hammer. And also some videos of
Ellen and other celebrities, if you’re into
that sort of thing. [BLEEP] God [BLEEP]!
