Alumna playing for Spanish professional women’s soccer team

Rachael Figg, a CSUSB graduate, now plays professional soccer in Spain for Dinamo de Guadalajara. I think about playing forward my favorite thing is obviously scoring goals. I’m fast, so I’m able to beat defenders that way. Rachael Figg was one of our marquee players. She was our marquee recruit and what she did was elevate the status of the program by the quality of the player that she was and so the players that we were bringing in had to play at that level and by having players play at that level we’re able to raise the level of the program collectively. As a unit here at Cal State San Bernardino, we’re always very close and coach LeBaron Hollimon make sure that so we always do things involving the team. We stay team first. I think it makes us a lot more of a family and we have a closer bond. Future Coyotes I would like to say, if you want to come to a school where you’re going to get a great education and you’re gonna have a soccer experience that you’re gonna absolutely enjoy a student-athlete experience that you enjoy, this is the place to come but now we also have an added feature. We now have a pathway to the professional level if that’s something you aspire to do as well. My name is Rachael Figg. I love CSUSB and I’m a Coyote for life!
