30 Minute Soccer Training Session #29 ~ SOCCER DRILLS – Online Soccer Academy

What’s going on? Little dap. It’s Jared Montz
former pro and founder of OnlineSoccerAcademy.com. Today we are doing a 30 minute soccer training
session! Equipment Needed: A ball and 7 cones. Soccer
Coaching 0-5 Minutes — First 5 minutes is your warm
up. Jog and stretch. A normal warm up. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] 5-10 Minutes — Minute 5, to minute 10. Ball
work. Soccer Training Drills. Do any foot exercise you want but change the exercise
every 30 seconds. Go for 5 minutes. [Music] [Music] [Music] 10-15 Minutes — Minute 10, to minute 15.
Soccer Drills. Ball work with cones. Set up two cones 3 feet apart from each other. At
start cone, do laces touches, then roll the ball across to the other cone. Stop the ball
and repeat the process. Go for 1 minute. Rest 30 seconds. Soccer Drill. Then repeat 3 times. 15-20 Minutes — Minute 15, to Minute 20.
Ball work with sprints. Soccer Skill. Set up 7 cones. [Music] [Music] Dribble in and out of 6 cones, then sprint
to top cone. Very light jog back. Repeat for 5 minutes. For the dribbling do all right
foot, all left foot, both feet, roll overs, etc. You be creative. Make sure to have a
light, light jog on the way back. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] 20-25 Minutes — Minute 20, to minute 25.
Inside to outside touches. Soccer Skills. Switching back and fourth between both feet.
You can do advanced or basic. [Music] [Music] [Music] Every 30 seconds switch feet. You will tire
out so take a short break if needed. But try to go 5 minutes straight. This is good for
ball work, your mental training and strengthening your legs. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] 25-30 Minutes — Juggling with push ups! Juggle
with your feet, thighs, head, etc for one minute. Then do as many push ups as you can
up to 20. If you do 5 that is okay, do your max but don’t do more then 20. Then go back
to juggling for a minute. Repeat this process for 5 minutes. Make sure you finish with a cool down and
stretching. A few sit ups would be a good idea too! Soccer Drills for kids. Have a great
session! Hope you enjoyed this Online Soccer Academy

I believe this works, I will try it out, thanks for that! 😉
But I'm wondering, is this the best soccer training? I mean, how do you know these excercises are good, or you just randomly took them and put it together so we have 30 minutes? 🙂

  2. Taufik Hidayat says:

Thanks Jared 🙂 Gonna try this later. Believe in it!!

  3. Kim Delavin says:

    Way to be creative.

  7. Online Soccer Academy says:

If you do 1,000 push ups that might be to much. Like anything… you can over do it. You don't want to be exhausted or pull a muscle.

  8. Online Soccer Academy says:

Welcome back and glad you got stable. Good for you. I'm sure that wasn't easy. Yes, I think you can get back to player you once were. But I don't have that answer, you do! Watch my video on "How to come back from an injury" and apply that to coming back. It's natural that you are feeling doubt and low confidence. It will take time to get back to player you were. Small improvements daily equal big improvements over time. You can do it. Believe in it®! You are a Believe in it® Athlete!

  9. Online Soccer Academy says:

I want a signed jersey one day! 🙂

  12. Online Soccer Academy says:

I retired because I tore my labrum in my groin/hip region. After two surgeries and lots of physical therapy I just wasn't the same player anymore and not good enough to play pro. It was time to retire. You can read more about it on the OnlineSoccerAcademy(dot)com blog by going to the blog and clicking the "retirement speech" category on the right hand side.

  14. Online Soccer Academy says:

Glad I can be someone you look up too.

  15. Online Soccer Academy says:

It's not the "Best" soccer training. There are lots of ways to train… there is no one best way. All I know is I did a lot of this type of training when I was training on my own growing up, in college and as a pro. It helped me. It's all ball control drills. If you don't feel yourself improving by practicing what I'm showing then don't do it. But I assure you it helps most players.

  16. Online Soccer Academy says:

Glad you are a Believe in it® Athlete!

  17. Online Soccer Academy says:

Yes, you can call me coach.

  18. Online Soccer Academy says:

In most of my 30 minute sessions I show some warm up stuff but not much stretching or cool down exercises. Maybe one day I'll do a video like that.

  66. Online Soccer Academy says:

    Cool, good luck!

  67. Online Soccer Academy says:

Nope! Most players would love to be your size!

  68. aeeesd says:

What is the most optimal way to dribble a ball in a game? Looking down at the ball / looking a bit ahead of and use peripheral vision or looking ahead?

Also, what are some places to practice if you don't have a back yard?

  69. Online Soccer Academy says:

It's a balance. When you take a touch, you look down at the ball. When the ball is in front of you, look up and see the field.

Driveway, sidewalk, local park, basketball court, racquetball court, etc. Anywhere you have space really that is safe.

  70. 3KG Prince says:

Does it work with 5 cones

  71. Online Soccer Academy says:

    I'm sure it could

  72. Jivris says:

I can't believe how long this ball has lasted, what is it made of?

  73. 2374jonathan says:

Does it matter how far apart the cones are in minute 15-20 step

  74. Online Soccer Academy says:

    LOL! Kryptonite!

  75. Online Soccer Academy says:

Read the video description and that should tell you the distance. Do your best to get it as close to what this video is showing it.

  78. gonzalo santiago says:

Hi again you just did the move in the beginning of this video when you drag the ball back and pushed it with your ankle behind your other foot and skipped the opposite foot forward.

  79. gonzalo santiago says:

it is four seconds into the video.

  80. gonzalo santiago says:

Also repeated at 58 seconds, I just can't seem to shift my weight smoothly when you have to skip your foot forward so the ball won't be in the way when you try to put it behind your foot, from the foot that drag the ball initially and you are tapping it with the side of your ankle. The skip is the difficult part.

  81. gonzalo santiago says:

I am sorry I am not explaining myself thoroughly, I really do appreciate any help you give me.

Guys. improve your football skills doesn't need to be hard (I used to think it did). I will give you some advice now. Get a training program called Spovelax Training Program (google search it). Thanks to it I've become a better player. I probably should not even be speaking about it cause I do not want a bunch of other guys out there running the same game but whatever. I am just in a great mood right now so I'll share the wealth lol.

  98. F2 DZ says:

this is really good for young kids starting or in the middle or just struggling with their ball control and fitness. This is an extremely good channel.I made a really good sub to a channel.I'm 13 and this has improved my ball control more and my lobs(in another video) are getting much better.I keep the ball glued more because of this.
